Hon David Lloyd

One of our Law Practice’s Consultant is former Judge and King’s Counsel, Hon David Lloyd. His Honour has retired as a Judge, and continues to practise as a Meditator and chairs Council’s Planning Commission.

Previously a Judge of the Land and Environment Court of NSW and an acting Judge of the Supreme Court of NSW. During that time he was engaged by the National Judicial College of Australia, and by the Judicial Commission of NSW in presenting and facilitating judicial education and professional development programs for judicial officers. He also served on the Conduct Division of the Judicial Commission.

Upon retirement as a Judge he was appointed as a Visiting Fellow at the ANU College of Law and as a Judicial Associate of the National Judicial College of Australia. Appointed a Queens Counsel in NSW in 1991 and in the ACT, VIC and QLD in 1992. Currently he chairs two local government independent planning assessment panels, and presently an Adjunct Professor at Western Sydney University.
